Speech Pathologists study, diagnose and treat communication disorders, including difficulties with:

Our Speech Pathologists work with people who have difficulty communicating due to Autism, Developmental Delays, Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia, Congenital Syndromes, Cardiac Conditions, Tongue Tie, Down Syndrome, Cleft Palate and Hearing Loss, as well as other problems that can affect speech and language.

UpScale Care also provide treatment for people who experience difficulties swallowing food and drink safely. Speech Pathologists can also provide therapy to help children with:

  • Understanding and using pictures, symbols, signs, gestures, speech sounds, words and sentences
  • Taking turns and making eye contact
  • Building skills for later reading and spelling
  • Stuttering, voice and feeding difficulties.
